Rick’s Transport Terms & Conditions

At Rick’s Transport, our priority is ensuring a safe, smooth, and enjoyable transfer for all passengers. To achieve this, we have established the following Terms & Conditions.

When you book a seat for an event or concert transfer, you are reserving a place that someone else may miss out on. We may schedule additional buses, drivers, and staff to accommodate demand. As a result, last-minute cancellations can impact operations, and we must enforce a cancellation policy to maintain fairness for all passengers.

We appreciate your understanding.


Payment & Refund Policy

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation by the passenger:
    • A full refund is available if cancellation is requested more than 4 weeks before the event date.
    • A 50% refund is available if cancellation is requested less than 4 weeks before the event date.
    • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 5 days of the event.
    • Refund requests must be made in writing by emailing office@ricksgroup.com.au with your booking number.
  • Event or concert cancellations by the promoter:
    • If the event/concert is canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled start time, a credit for a future transfer will be provided to the full value of your booking. No monetary refund will be issued.
    • If the event/concert is canceled between 72 hours and 7 days before the scheduled start time, passengers may choose either:
      • A 50% refund, OR
      • A full credit for a future transfer.
    • Your choice must be nominated in writing via email to office@ricksgroup.com.au with your booking number. If you choose the 50% refund, you acknowledge that the remaining 50% is non-refundable.
    • If transport has already been provided, no refund or credit will be issued.

Event Transfer Timelines & Passenger Responsibilities

  • Be at your pickup location at least 10 minutes before departure.
  • The bus will depart as scheduled to ensure all passengers arrive on time. No refunds will be issued for missed departures.
  • Rick’s Transport is not responsible for any costs incurred by passengers who miss the bus and need to arrange alternative transportation.
  • For return trips, your bus host/driver will confirm the meeting point and departure time after the event.
  • If you fail to return on time, the driver/host will attempt to contact you. If unsuccessful, the bus will depart without you. Rick’s Transport is not responsible for any costs incurred in arranging alternative transport.
  • Due to the nature of our service, a final bus schedule will be posted to our Facebook page 3 days before the event. This schedule will also be emailed to the email provided 3 days before the event.

Operational Changes & Service Alterations

  • Rick’s Transport reserves the right to alter itineraries, change routes, or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, road closures, or mechanical issues.
  • If we cancel a transfer, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative accredited transfer service at our discretion.

Passenger Conduct & Safety

  • No Smoking or Vaping is permitted on any vehicle. A $500 penalty will apply, charged to the credit card on file.
  • No alcohol is to be opened or consumed on board. Any passenger found consuming alcohol may have it confiscated or be removed from the vehicle.
  • Disruptive, aggressive, or intoxicated passengers may be refused entry or removed from the bus. In such cases:
    • The driver/bus host has full authority to make safety-based decisions.
    • If necessary, police assistance may be requested.
    • Rick’s Transport will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the passenger due to removal.

Lost Property

  • If you lose an item, you must report it via email to office@ricksgroup.com.au with your booking details and a description of the lost item.
  • Rick’s Transport is not liable for lost, stolen, or misplaced items. While we will do our best to assist, recovery of lost property cannot be guaranteed.
  • Any unclaimed items will be held for 14 days before being donated or disposed of.

Liability Disclaimer

Rick’s Transport strives to provide accurate service details and a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers. However:

  • We are not liable for any illness, injury, damages, losses, delays, or failure to join the bus/ coach due to factors beyond our control.
  • Passengers assume all risk associated with travel, including but not limited to traffic delays, adverse weather, or event cancellations.

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket and using Rick’s Transport services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Rick’s Transport reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
